Hi all
I'm running Kernel 4.10.0-sun50iw2 with support for H5 SoC
I'm experiencing some issues, running a DVB-T key connected to one of the
USB port
Starting from a power up the key is normally detected and firmware loaded
fine:
[ 1.959277] usb 2-1: new high-speed USB device number 2 using
ehci-platform
..............................................................................................................................................
[ 4.949228] as10x_usb: device has been detected
[ 4.949729] dvbdev: DVB: registering new adapter (Sky IT Digital Key
(green led))
[ 4.985217] usb 2-1: DVB: registering adapter 0 frontend 0 (Sky IT
Digital Key (green led))...
..............................................................................................................................................
[ 5.303160] as10x_usb: firmware: as102_data1_st.hex loaded with success
[ 5.588662] as10x_usb: firmware: as102_data2_st.hex loaded with success
[ 5.588700] Registered device Sky IT Digital Key (green led)
[ 5.588857] usbcore: registered new interface driver Abilis Systems
as10x usb driver
I have an util, tvheadend, that use the DVB-T in backgorund for channel
tuning, EPG download, etc...
The problem is that after some minutes, or few seconds if I'm watching a
DVB channel (high data bandwidth on USB), the kernel panics and the board
is restarted.
After the restart, the USB core is completely screwed up:
[ 1.955730] usb 2-1: new high-speed USB device number 2 using
ehci-platform
[ 2.104266] usb 2-1: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/start: -61
[ 2.104273] usb 2-1: can't read configurations, error -61
[ 2.231746] usb 2-1: new high-speed USB device number 3 using
ehci-platform
[ 2.380261] usb 2-1: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/start: -61
[ 2.380269] usb 2-1: can't read configurations, error -61
[ 2.380490] random: fast init done
[ 2.507696] usb 2-1: new high-speed USB device number 4 using

[ 2.894246] random: crng init done
[ 3.079749] usb 5-1: new full-speed USB device number 2 using
ohci-platform
[ 3.290733] usb 5-1: not running at top speed; connect to a high speed
hub
[ 3.296726] usb 5-1: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/start: -61
[ 3.296731] usb 5-1: can't read configurations, error -61
[ 3.483696] usb 5-1: new full-speed USB device number 3 using

[ 3.694721] usb 5-1: not running at top speed; connect to a high speed

hub
[ 3.930723] usb 5-1: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/start: -61
[ 3.930726] usb 5-1: can't read configurations, error -61
[ 3.959961] EXT4-fs (mmcblk0p1): mounted filesystem with writeback data
mode. Opts: (null)
[ 4.115717] usb 5-1: new full-speed USB device number 5 using
ohci-platform
[ 4.148730] usb 5-1: not running at top speed; connect to a high speed
hub
[ 4.154727] usb 5-1: unable to read config index 0 descriptor/start: -61
[ 4.154731] usb 5-1: can't read configurations, error -61
[ 4.159703] usb usb5-port1: unable to enumerate USB device
As you can see the device on 2-1 cannot be enumerated, also something is
detected on 5-1 (apparently some internal maybe 1.1 hub)
The only recover is a power cycle, reboot is not enough.
the Orange Pi PC 2 is powered by a 3A power supply, and nothing else is
connected to the USB ports
I always had problem running DVB-T with AllWinner mainline, an analog
problem happens with A20 on a BananaPi. The key works ok on RPi3
Anything I can investigate more?
